L’Avvocato was not only a great business man but also a refined lover of beauty. For 25 years he sailed with Agneta, a really spectacular vintage yacht, characterized by its distinctive burgundy color and its charming look derived from the highest standard construction.
This 25-meter-long sailing boat was born in 1950. Thanks to spruce masts and a teak deck boat is able to easily achieve the top speed with light winds.
Knud Reimers, who was the head of the project was incredibly able to transform his great ideas into real results. Thanks to him the boat still looks magnificent today.
The first owner of the yacht was Mr.Wiberg who maintained the boat till 1959 when Agnelli, the symbol of Italian industry, became the new owner.
During the 25 years ownership Agnelli took part in different regattas with Agneta.

THE RESTORATION OF AGNETA
In 1987, Agneta was purchased by architect Andoline, who decided to make significant changes to the boat and restore its interior and exterior part. The yacht stayed at shipyards Carlini in Rimini for more than a year and a half. Under the new owner’s will, the boat’s fitting out had to be brought to its original masthead and he also studied a redistribution of spaces in the interior.
The dinette with a particular floor design, the cathedral windows and the main cabin was designed only by one wood artist, Saverio Saotin.
Thanks to this important restoration the boat came back to its antique splendor and after the successes achieved in 2000 at Palma di Majorca, Imperia, Cannes and St. Tropez it got sold.
