Milan: 25 pre-war cars on public display in Via Montenapoleone
On 8th March next to the Madonnina statue was held a car themed event “D’Annunzio, books and motors”
The idea of making this unique and special show belongs to famous collector Corrado Lopresto. With the help of CMAE, on 8th March, 25 crews attended the event. After arriving in the area of Linate airport, the cars headed to Comando Ufficiali’s restaurant for lunch. Later they drove in the direction of the heart of the city, going through the beautiful famous streets of the fashion district. Their final destination was Via Montenapoleone, where they were greeted by the famous fanfare of Aeronautica Militare. Besides remembering the centenary of Gabriele D’Annunzio’s flight over Vienna, the event saw the participation of Aeronautica’s General Officer Silvio Frigerio at a conference held by historical writer and president of the Foundation Vittoriale, Giordano Bruno Guerri.
It was just an amazing day in Milano in memory of Vate with a perfect mix of luxury, culture and beauty.
