Like every year, the Bergamo event celebrated several noteworthy birthdays. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 935. Representing this authentic icon from the Stuttgart-based manufacturer, which remains a benchmark in the racing world, was the first car supplied to Porsche racing customers, a 953/77, shipped directly to Daytona to participate in the 1977 24 Hours of Daytona with Carlo Facetti and Martino Finotto, narrowly missing a resounding victory due to a trivial incident in the final hour of the race while leading. Also in the closed-wheel category were the exclusive Mercedes 300 SL "Gullwing," nicknamed "the Cuban" for its unique history, Porsche 911 RSRs, as well as two Ferrari 512 BBs and other Mercedes-AMG sports cars that served as pace cars during the various heats. In this 22nd edition, a significant space was dedicated to the memory of Sandro Munari, who passed away on February 28th, with the significant presence of a vehicle that played a particularly important role in the career of the "Dragon" and in the model's sporting development: the Lancia Fulvia HF 1.4 Proto, on display in Bergamo, marked the first international victory for Sandro Munari, at the 1967 Tour de Corse, teamed with Luciano Lombardini, and for the Fulvia. The two-wheeled sector was equally distinguished, with prominent models representing the major motorcycle brands: MV Agusta and Mondial, in memory of the other great Bergamo champion Carlo Ubbiali, a regular at the Bergamo Historic Gran Prix; Rumi; Honda; Norton, Laverda; Ducati; and Gilera. The event's patron is Russian model and influencer Karina Sapsai, who has lived in Italy for years and collaborated with leading fashion brands, as well as being a featured guest on Isola dei Famosi 2024. The artist Gianni Moramarco, who created several works dedicated to the Bergamo Historic Gran Prix, was also a guest of honor. Finally, the Bergamo event's charitable purpose should also be emphasized, as it raised funds for the non-profit organization Spazio Autismo Bergamo
