The story of the car goes back in 1983 when this wonderful model of Jaguar, XJ-SC coloured in british racing green was first built. Originally the car had two seats but, in order to satisfy Princess Diana’s needs, one model of XJ-SC (763 KYX plate) was specially fitted with two other rear seats for her children William and Harry and for her bodyguard.
Princess Diana’s Jaguar is not particular only because of the number of seats but also, differently from other XJ-SC, this model as Diana wanted has been fitted with personalized leather and Harris Tweed seat trims.
After using it almost 4 years from 1987 until 1991, due to lack of space princess Diana had to replace the car with a German Mercedes 500SL.
