A golden thread unites two excellences of high-class lifestyle and luxury, both Italian and international: the Quadrilatero della Moda in Milan and Forte dei Marmi, the seaside town in the Versilia area.
From hard and pure business to the sweet “doing nothing” on the golden beaches, between the Ligurian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The event “Milan is Forte dei Marmi” will follow this imaginary thread, trying to recreate the emotions of the “fabulous Sixties”, when Forte was, like Rome, a point of reference for the “dolce vita”.
The famous people of the time - actors, directors, great entrepreneurs, beautiful women - lived in the luxurious summer villas, tanned on the most exclusive beach, and had fun in the nightclubs.
The starry nights were musical, at the Bussola or at the legendary Capannina (1929), where Gino Paoli made you dream by whispering “Taste of salt, taste of the sea”, and the legendary Ray Charles softened your heart with his poignant blues.
