"Medal of the President of the Republic", cars from Italy and abroad: a show the centenary of the race "Cuneo - Colle della Maddalena

It was a two-day event of great emotion, passion and participation that accompanied the centenary of the historic car race “Cuneo - Colle della Maddalena”, a re-enactment organized with great success by the Automobile Club Cuneo. A result made even more exciting by the awarding, to the Automobile Club Cuneo, of the Medal of the President of the Republic, which the Head of State Sergio Mattarella assigned to the Cuneo association as his representative prize, for having organized an event recognized as having high historical and cultural value. On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, over 60 vintage cars from all over Italy but also from abroad, paraded through the streets of Cuneo and the Stura Valley, transforming the area into an open-air museum of the history of motoring. Piazza Galimberti was the beating heart of Saturday, packed with visitors and enthusiasts who were able to admire the cars on display and attend the Concorso d’Eleganza, which saw the 1933 Fiat 508 SS Coppa Oro as the winner of “The Best in the Show”.
