Third edition Milano Portofino 2025: a recognized and affirmed success - OldCar24 Event
Milano Portofino 2025 was, like the two previous editions, a high-profile and highly successful event.
The absolute protagonists were the thirty vintage cars, belonging to an exclusive, high-class collection.
In tow, the ten contemporary custom-built cars of the Tribute, a "tribute" to the historic companions.
The caravan set off, again this year, from the luxurious Grand Hotel Principe di Savoia and the splendid cars stopped, escorted by the Carabinieri of Milan, in the scenic Courtyard of the Palazzo del Senato: witnesses of design, artisanal and industrial creativity, in a centuries-old setting of Milanese history.
The exclusive Gala Dinner at the Grand Hotel Principe di Savoia was, as always, a glamorous and highly convivial event, sealed by the sharing of the Heraldic Cake, with the Milano Portofino logo on a blue background.
The 2025 program, according to the philosophy of OldCar24 and Scuderia Montenapoleone, included not only classic motorsport trials, but an itinerary (with Portofino as the destination) that was an experiential event, immersive in the Emilian/Ligurian Apennine landscape, and in its history.
The regularity trials were carried out in CASTELL’ARQUATO, the medieval village famous for the excellent preservation of its monuments and the historic center.
The ancient dream of competing along the crenellated walls of the medieval knights is the same as the gentlemen drivers, at the controls of their steel cars.
The roar of the engines took the place of the clatter of the horses’ galloping on the ancient stones.
The Castell’Arquato race was also a walk through time and history.
The Rivalta Castle, immersed in the green hills of Parma, is the place par excellence for tasting local delicacies and, in addition, has opened its ancient premises and collections of objects and weapons from every era to visitors.
Competing, admiring, tasting should always be the objectives of our Event, in addition to making each participant feel special and privileged.
In Salsomaggiore Terme, the most beautiful cars of the two categories: Vintage and Tribute were presented to the jury and the large and interested public, for a new and evocative recognition: "MISS HISTORICAL CARS SALSOMAGGIORE".
Because the car is "feminine" by declaration of Gabriele D'Annunzio, therefore it is also MISS.
The winning cars were crowned by the Mayor of the beautiful city of the historic and monumental Spas.
The award ceremony took place during the Dinner at the Grand Hotel in Salsomaggiore.
Classic Cars Ranking:
1) Jaguar E type spider
2) Alfa Romeo 1900 SS Touring Superleggera red (ex 1000miglia)
3) Maserati Mistral spider (red, Swiss crew, also winner of the loyalty prize, as it has always participated in this Event).
Tribute car ranking

Then the Epoca e Tribute caravan descended along the Ligurian Apennines towards Chiavari, among the Mediterranean scrub, scented with thyme, juniper, rosemary, colored with yellow/sun broom.
In Chiavari, the pure beauty of the sea offers itself to the senses, with its smell of saltiness.
The visual gratification was accompanied by a very pleasant and appropriate tasting at the Gran Caffè Defilla, a historic venue in the city.
In this ancient coastal city, the crews had a magnificent lunch at the Wama Restaurant, for a multisensory tasting experience, because between the blue of the sea and the sky.
The cars, exhibited in Piazza Matteotti, were the object of great admiration and curiosity.
On the afternoon of May 3, the gemtlemen drivers were engaged in two successive timed test sessions to be held in the intricate alleys of the city, an exciting and adrenaline-filled operation.
Afterwards, and always under escort, the caravan headed towards Portofino. Accommodation at the five-star Grand Hotel Coats.
On the morning of May 4, in the famous Piazzetta, the 40 cars were positioned, much photographed and admired by enthusiasts and the public present.
The final Lunch of the Event was prepared in the starred CRACCO Restaurant in Portofino, by our Chef of choice.
The blue vision of the Gulf of Tigullio - harmony of sky, sea and land - was interpreted by the Magician of Italian cuisine, with an exclusive dish for our guests:
The “Risotto” MilanoPortofino, in which the flavors of the sea and the rustic aromas of Ligurian cuisine are perfectly combined.
