MotòExhibition the new annual event for lovers of motorcycles and engines in the heart of the Motor Valley, taking place at ModenaFiere on March 29 and 30.
A new fair event dedicated to all fans of two wheels, their history and the iconic models of yesterday and today, which saw a good turnout of visitors on both days of opening to the public, with a total of over 10,000 paying visitors. A result that was far from predictable for a first edition, especially in a period of the year, the arrival of spring, in which motorcyclists usually prefer to get back on their beloved bikes for their first rides in the hills.
Many, varied and colorful contents animated the pavilions and outdoor spaces of the Modena exhibition center, starting from the Central Gallery which hosted the approximately 40 motorcycles exhibited in the three large thematic exhibitions: Dust and mud, Small but fast and Everything in a bend.
In the pavilions on the sides of the gallery, traders and private individuals exhibited for sale road and motocross models, scooters and small city bikes and many new and used proposals; then the large market exhibition, where you can discover and buy spare parts, objects, collectibles, clothing and accessories for the motorbike as well as models and other curiosities related to the world of motorcyclists, numerous and smiling among music, beer, focaccia but above all many, many motorbikes on display, for sale, on the set for a photo shoot and some even "under the knife": in fact there was no shortage of stands and operational spaces, where professionals and detailers demonstrated their skills in front of an always attentive and interested public.

BMW Autoclub Modena presented three heart-stopping new models: the new BMW R12S, S1000R and M1000R, the latter two not yet arrived in the official showrooms but were revealed as a preview to the public at MotòExhibition.
The area dedicated to Custom was spectacular, with many stands of artists and artisans with their beautiful creations, several of which were in competition: the ModenaFiere event was in fact included in the calendar of the official stages of the 2025 Custom Bike Show Championship.
Several guests also embellished the exhibition with their presence, including the legendary preparer Andrea Pinasco, guest of Scooterismo.it with his latest book “Olive”, and Enzo Simonini, founder of the brand of the same name. Also noteworthy was the retrospective presented by ASI Automotoclub Storico Italiano, dedicated to the two-wheeled creations of Oreste Garanzini.
Great visibility also for the OldBike24 stand, an international platform specializing in classic motorcycles that chose to exhibit on this occasion the famous BMW R 1200C that appeared in the filming of the 007 movie.
Finally, to liven up the outdoor areas, the ignition, the demonstrations and the "numbers" of many classic racing motorcycles, in addition to the knockout skill tests of the stage of the national gymkhana championship of the Vespa Club d'Italia, on stage throughout the day on Sunday.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Saturday morning in the presence of the Mayor of Modena Massimo Mezzetti, the President of ModenaFiere Celso De Scrilli, the President of the Modena Chamber of Commerce Giuseppe Molinari and Mario Carlo Baccaglini, CEO of Intermeeting, introduced by Marco Momoli, CEO of ModenaFiere.
Massimo Mezzetti, Mayor of Modena:
“This is the world that has fascinated me for many years and that continues to fascinate me, and I believe that this event is truly the missing piece, here in the land of motors. A moment not only of aggregation for enthusiasts but also of celebration of the culture that revolves around it, of the related industries, from components to customization craftsmanship, to restoration, to the search for originality. There is a whole world that gravitates around this, there is an economy, and I am happy that Modena is giving you space today. I truly hope that this is the first of a long series of editions, which I am sure will help many to discover how vast and rich this sector is”.
Celso De Scrilli, President of ModenaFiere:

“I am very happy to be here today to celebrate the opening of MotòExhibition. Every new fair is a gamble and represents a big commitment, and we hope this will be the first of a long series of events here in Modena. The opening of this first edition of MotòExhibition represents an important moment for ModenaFiere which, like its parent company BolognaFiere, believes in this event because it believes in the potential and future of this exhibition center.
We are grateful to the Municipality and the Mayor of Modena, Massimo Mezzetti, to the Modena Chamber of Commerce and its President Giuseppe Molinari, and we are extremely satisfied with the collaboration with Intermeeting, partner in the realization of this new event”.
Giuseppe Molinari, President of the Modena Chamber of Commerce:
“We believed in this initiative and this format right from the start, which for Modena can be a moment of aggregation and launch for something that can germinate and grow in the future. An important event for Modena not only because we are in the Motor Valley, but above all because Modena has had important moments linked to motorcycling in the past; I personally have childhood memories linked to the great champions and motorcycle races at the old circuit, where the Ferrari park is now located. A beautiful memory to which today we give a sign of continuity with an event where you can buy and sell, a market fair like there are few in Italy today and which keep the passion for making and craftsmanship alive”.
Mario Carlo Baccaglini, CEO of Intermeeting:

“We are convinced that Modena is a place that allows us to create a different event, MotòExhibition is a strategic and significant event, because it underlines and enhances the link between the history, culture and excellence of this territory. The city of Modena plays a central role in the Motor Valley just as it is central to the history of engines of the past, present and fortunately also of the future, fundamental for bringing young people closer and helping this sector to grow and continue to develop. We are happy with this first edition and how it came out and we are sure that it will give us great satisfaction”.
