ModenaFiere will open its pavilions for two days to host the first edition of MotòExhibition, the trade fair event dedicated to all fans of two-wheelers, their history and the iconic models of yesterday and today.
1. The exhibition areas
Three large thematic exhibitions will welcome visitors:
1) Dust and mud
Off-road, motocross and enduro bikes. A rich selection of vehicles, mostly Italian, to tell the story and technical evolution of the "knobby" two-wheelers between private and competitive use, with a special focus on the 70s and 80s and some beautiful rarities waiting to be discovered.
2) Small but fast
The history of small-displacement racing bikes, told with rare and fascinating pieces produced between Italy and Austria from the late 60s to the mid 80s. Fairings and windshields conceal superfine mechanics, capable of impressive performance despite the small displacement.
3) Everything in a bend
Here the Japanese take over the national production to tell the story and evolution of the great sports bike from the 70s to 2025, through models closely linked to the exploits of racing champions and the most beautiful pages of two-wheeled motorsport, written on circuits around the world.
A large market exhibition where you can buy and discover spare parts, objects, collectibles, clothing and accessories for the bike as well as models and other curiosities related to the world of motorcyclists.
In the section Il Mondo delle Moto, dealers and private individuals will be selling road and dirt bikes, scooters and small city bikes, many new and used proposals from yesterday and today.
Many brands are represented by the official dealers present, including Ducati, KTM, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, BMW, Morbidelli, Keeway, Kimco, Benelli, Kove, Benda, KL, Vent, FB Mondial. 2. MotoClub Ghirlandina exhibits the jewels of the Villa Collection
Among the many clubs present, the MotoClub Ghirlandina stand will exhibit 5 motorcycles from the collection of the Villa Italia museum in Modena, the private museum of the Neri family. The motorcycles that make up the collection are all working and documented, making it the most complete and prestigious collection of Moto Villa.
On display at MotòExhibition will be:
• 125 PR 1968
• 250 PR 1969
• 250 LG 1977
• 410 MX 1978
• 495 MC 1984
Two racing bikes and three motocross bikes among the most valuable and important pieces of the entire Villa Collection.

3. FMI, ASI, Vespa Club Italia: discounted entry for members
The Italian Motorcycle Federation will be present at MotòExhibition with its own institutional stand. For the occasion, FMI members, by purchasing the full ticket at the fair's ticket office upon presentation of a valid FMI card, will be able to access the event with a discount of 4 euros, paying 15 euros for the ticket instead of 19. The same opportunity for privileged access is also reserved for members of ASI Automotoclub Storico Italiano, which will exhibit a selection of rare Garanzini motorcycles, and Vespa Club Italia, present with a large stand, a gathering in the external spaces of ModenaFiere, dedicated to all those who choose to arrive at the fair on board their own Vespa, and an entire day dedicated to the trials of the national Gimkana championship.
4. Guests and workshops in the Scooterismo.it space
One of the liveliest and most vibrant stands at the fair will certainly be the Scooterismo.it one, where, between guests and workshops, there will be plenty of fun. The very busy calendar of events and initiatives is currently being completed, including:
• On Saturday 29 March, Michele Cavalli Pissi will talk about the preparation and adventures of his incredible trips on his trusty Vespa, including his recent raid in Iceland;
• Also on Saturday 29 March, we will see Gabriele Schianchi of the Clava Racing Team at work, who will reveal some “tricks” on the preparation and care of the Vespa Endurance DDS and SuperSport engines that participate in the Italian Scooter Challenge;
• On Sunday 30 March, the legendary Andrea Pinasco, a historic name in tuning, will present and sign his new book "Olive" with stories, adventures and anecdotes.
In short, it will be fun!

7. Cross 70s with the Simonini Historical Register
A story of excellence all from Modena that of Simonini motorcycles, a brand born in the late 60s with the founder Enzo, who in the blink of an eye achieved important sporting successes in Italy and abroad. A fascinating entrepreneurial adventure preserved and told by the Simonini Historical Register, which will be present at MotòExhibition with three valuable pieces:
• 125 Cross Competizione, first version launched in 1972
• 50 Cross Competizione 1974, the only known example still completely original
• 125 Mustang pre-series 1976, a completely restored example, used only by official Simonini pilots, which anticipates the 1978 series model with which Simonini won the Italian 125 Senior Championship.

8. Two large areas and a competition dedicated to Custom
At MotòExhibition there will be two large thematic areas related to Custom. The first will be dedicated to professionals and operators of tailor-made motorcycles, with many motorcycles on display and for sale, dealers of parts and accessories, preparers, airbrushers and much more. Not only that: near the entrance there will be an external exhibition area reserved for visitors who will arrive at the fair on board their customized motorcycle.
And then, already from this first edition, the fair will be a stop of the Italian Motorcycle Championship organized by Terre di Moto Srl and the leading Italian magazines in the sector Bikers Life, Kustom World and Special Cafe: it is the first and only Italian Custom Bike Show Championship, conceived and created in 2012 by Micke Persello. The categories in the competition are 8: Freestyle, Metric, Modified H-D, Old Style, Streetfighter & Sport Bike, Café Racer, Bagger/ Clubstyle and Scrambler. In addition to the winners for each category, the Best in Show is also elected at each stage of the Championship. The winners of the individual stages participate in the final from the following year, the only Italian date of the AMD World Championship, during which the Italian Champions of the category and the 3 specials that will represent Italy at the World Championship are decreed.
