The event represents an extraordinary opportunity to consolidate the role of the City of Modena as the area where the myth of speed was born and established and of ModenaFiere as an important protagonist in the regional exhibition sector.
The event was born from the collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce, owner of the brand, BolognaFiere and ModenaFiere, which for the organizational part rely on the experience of Intermeeting Srl. The main reality in the sector, which has been organizing the Auto e Moto d'Epoca, the largest European show of historic cars and motorbikes which in the last edition attracted 260.000 visitors.
Giuseppe Molinari, president of the Modena Chamber of Commerce, opened the proceedings yesterday at a press conference, declaring: «The first edition of MotòExhibition, which will be held at ModenaFiere on 29 and 30 March 2025, represents an important opportunity to strengthen the role of Modena as the hub of the Motor Valley. This event, which we will support as the Chamber of Commerce, combines the passion for vintage motorbikes with the excellence of our territory and, thanks to the collaboration between prestigious partners, will aim to attract an international audience of exhibitors and enthusiasts, consolidating the image of Modena at a European level. MotòExhibition will not only be a moment of celebration of the historic motoring sector, but also an opportunity to stimulate the economic and tourist growth of our city".
MotòExhibition will occupy the entire ModenaFiere exhibition center and will extend for a total of 35,000 square meters, between internal and external areas. The three pavilions will be organized into evocative thematic itineraries, dedicated to the main reference product sectors: Dust and Mud (off-road, Cross and Enduro motorbikes), Small but Fast (Vespas, Lambrettas and Scooters), Everything in fold (road and competition); while the large market exhibition area will be a versatile area dedicated to spare parts, model making, accessories, objects and sector clothing. It will be an unmissable opportunity to find spare parts for your vehicles and make curious and unusual purchases.
The outdoor area will be dedicated to rallies and two-wheeled events will take place there for all the public present.

The declared objective of MotòExhibition is to attract an international audience of exhibitors and enthusiasts, also taking advantage of the Brenner axis, consolidating the image of Modena at a European level. With inevitable positive effects on the Modena area, representing a great opportunity to stimulate the economic and tourist growth of the city which is experiencing a real boom confirmed by the most recent national statistics.
Celso de Scrilli, president of ModenaFiere, said that, «Modena, as the center of the Emilian Motor Valley, could no longer do without an event linked to motors, an event which in our intentions is destined to play a strategic role for Modena in the future Fairs, also thanks to the acquisition of important partnerships, representing an extremely attractive resource for operators and visitors at a national level". Paolo Zanca, councilor for relations with subsidiaries and employment, spoke for the Municipality of Modena. «This event fits perfectly into the role that our city wants to exercise in Europe – he explained – we are in the era of change and we need to rethink the tourism and trade fair offer, some mass phenomena are losing importance, but others are growing. The cultural and tourist ferment that Modena is experiencing needs this type of event, which draws inspiration from our most authentic roots, such as motorbikes and mechanics, and projects us onto an increasingly broader scenario."
Yesterday afternoon at the MotòExbiton space in Pavilion 29 stand C30 of Auto Moto d'Epoca at BolognaFiere, the CEO of Intermeeting Mario Carlo Baccaglini and the president de Scrilli met the national press. «For 41 years we have called ourselves Auto e Moto d'Epoca - declared Baccaglini - for us motorbikes and motorcyclists have always played a very important role. In collaboration with BolognaFiere and ModenaFiere we have decided to invest in strengthening the motorcycle part. We want an event that can involve all enthusiasts of the different specialties and offer them an event like the MotòExhibition where they will find motorcycles, products, spare parts, where they can see something unique in Europe. We will work to give enthusiasts a show where they will find the best exhibitors, industries, traders, spare parts dealers and Motoclubs, to bring the classic motorbike and its enthusiasts to the level it deserves."
