The fourteenth edition of Milano AutoClassica 2024 inaugurated in the name of the endless passion for motoring excellence
Large turnout of the public on the first day of the event
Milan, 15 November 2024 – The fourteenth edition of Milano AutoClassica opened this morning at the Fiera Milano Rho. The ceremony took place, as per tradition, in front of the three queens of the event who this year pay homage to the world of Endurance (Ferrari F40 LM, from 1987; Ferrari 499 P, from 2023 and Ferrari 512 BB LM from 1978).
The ribbon cutting took place - as per the attached photo, in order from left to right - by Arianna Censi, Councilor for Mobility of the Municipality of Milan, Roberto Foresti, Deputy General Director of Fiera Milano, Alberto Scuro, President of Automotoclub Storico Italiano, Andrea Martini, President of Milano AutoClassica, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, President of ACI and ACI Storico, Geronimo La Russa, President of AC Milan, Gianluca Comazzi, Councilor for Territory and Green Systems of the Lombardy Region.
Large turnout of the public , despite the working day, in the pavilions of the event with particular interest in the celebration area of the Milano Autoclassica Club House, which pays homage to the fabulous 70 years of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL W198 Ali di Gabbiano, one of the most fascinating grand tourers of all time, available on multiple models, including the Roadster version. A massive crowd also honoured the first 40 years of the Ferrari Testarossa, an iconic car imprinted in the collective memory, with a particular interest in car number 3, exhibited at the Rosso Corsa stand. This is the original model that was presented to the public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October 1984 and, subsequently, was presented at the Lingotto in Turin in the same days of November as the fourteenth edition of Milano AutoClassica, only after precisely 40 years.
