As a child, when he wore shorts, Gigi (as his friends know him and call him) enjoyed racing toy cars along the streets of his city, Martinengo.
At a remarkably young age, Gigi's talent and determination propelled him to secure three consecutive Italian champion titles in 1980, 1981, and 1982. His victories were marked by the thunderous roar of the Fiat Ritmo 60 and 65 group 2, 125 Abarth group A, meticulously prepared by Trivellato.
In the meantime, he "cut his teeth" in the book sector as a Fabbri salesman of great works, and then, thanks to stubbornness and a spirit of initiative, landed on his own experience.
In 1972, he moved to Costa Volpino and, in 1975, created "Gilena Diffusione Libro," making himself known at sector fairs.
His great and never-forgotten passion for motors led him to specialize in this field and to make himself known and appreciated by an increasingly numerous clientele of car, motorbike, and modelling enthusiasts in Italy and abroad.
Gigi's reputation as a motors enthusiast transcends borders, and his presence is felt at numerous international events. From the vintage car and motorbike fair in Bologna to the prestigious Turin car show, from Essen Tecno Classica to the renowned Retromobile in Paris, his vast collection of volumes never fails to delight the avid enthusiasts who flock to these exhibitions.
In 2001, another critical step was opening a store in Brescia.
