OldCar24 was presented at the Auto e Moto d'epoca 2017. More than 115.000 visitors witness the huge success of the show

The 34th edition of Auto Moto Epoca in Padua has been described by the visitors as "the best edition ever". The excellent comments gave enormous pleasure to tradesmen, collectors, automobile manufacturers and obviously organizers.
The idea of uniting present, past and future has been rewarded with a strong and deep appreciation. In fact the number of participants has grown as forecasted surpassing 115.000 visitors within trade fair pavilions and more than 30.000 people who visited Future Hub, the outdoor exhibition area that was dedicated to mobility of the future.
Automakers were fairly satisfied with an enthusiastic participation of a large and well-attended public. As Roberto Giolito, Head of FCA Heritage comments: “ Here it seems to rise the new car of the future or even something better, the idea of vehicles and mobility that remains imprinted in your heart and mind, passes through the ages, inventions, technologies and discoveries that has changed the fate of cars and the culture of car projection over the century . Especially remarkable is the idea of the optimistic future of the automobiles without changing the culture and foolhardy ideologies that has been arisen from the dialogues in the pavilions and in the halls of fair this year in Padua. Thanks to the experts and operators who proposed various ideas and due to young students and their projects based on shared experiences and passion, Auto e Moto d'Epoca has been able to create the prototype of car fairs of the coming years.
It was noticeable how satisfied the traders were to see collectors and purchasers coming from all over the world and ready to pay more than 100.000 euro for the cars at Auto e Moto d'Epoca, that demonstrates their big passion and love for vintage cars. The upward trend in sales of the automobiles from 5.000 to 20.000 euro suggests that the classic cars are becoming increasingly popular even among younger people.
MyFirstClassic is a project that holds particular interest for experts and collectors. It's a driving program that has even caught the attention of FIVA, the international federation that has rejoined the fair for the annual Forum and that has welcomed Intermeeting (the organizing society of the fair) as its new member: in the project MyFirstClass and Hackathon organized with the University of Padua, the president Patrick Rollet declared: "Forum's main focus was on making new generation more interested in the classic cars and increase their involvement" The FIVA is very pleased to welcome Intermeeting as its new member to support its mission of protecting, preserving and promoting the worldwide heritage of cars.
It was expressed great satisfaction by the controllers of Bonhams, the English prestigious auction house which came back in Italy after 35 years for an auction where it totalized 3 millions leaded by 1957's Mercedes 300 SL Roadster sold for 897.000.
"We've got great results and we are very happy for our first participation in Padua at Auto e Moto d'Epoca" declared Gregor Wenner, organizer of Bonhams.
"The auction has got extraordinary participation and the reached quotation of 300 SL demonstrates that the Italian collectors market of the cars remains truly strong.
Many positive comments has been gathered in pavilions by famous vantage car admirers including Adolfo Orsi, one of the greatest experts of Maserati in the world, Donald Osborne and Mario Righini who is an historical collector, authority in this matter and who has always been present at fair from the first edition way back in 1983.
Among the specialist dealers, Richard Biddulph owner of “Vintage&Prestige” states his intention to come back at the exposition the following year. Stefano Aleotti, co-founder of CellularLine and founder of the dream workshop Ruote is likewise content: "We are very happy for this edition and satisfied with the number of sales. In my opinion Auto e Moto d' Epoca is one of the most important fairs in Europe, if not the most important".
