As always, the 48th edition of the Retromobile Show in Paris was an extraordinary exhibition of vintage cars and the ideal event for collectors and enthusiasts of historic motoring.
In addition to the direct vision of exceptional cars - four-wheeled masterpieces - of the most prestigious brands in the world, the visitor was able to watch videos and rare vintage films on the performances of the great drivers of the past.
Among the numerous presences and anniversaries at the Fair, this year, for the celebrations of its 100 years, MG - the British company Morris Garage - exhibited some of its rarest and most prestigious models, such as the 1924 Old Number One, the MG A and B, British style, light and fast, which also won the Mille Miglia. The MG EX 181 (1957) is fascinating, with its torpedo shape, and it can achieve incredible speed records.
Furthermore, auctions of scarce cars were held by Artcurial, which presented a superb Ferrari 250 GT California  Spyder LW B (1958), estimated at €8.5/11 million.; a Bugatti Type 35 for 300/ €500,000., with various Palmarès.

RM Sotheby's even chose the Louvre to sell a Scaglietti-bodied Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta da Competizione for 10.1 million euros.
The anniversary of the legendary Paris-Dakar rally (since 1978) was also celebrated, with the display of some of the cars that participated in this very tough competition, crossing the Sahara desert. As always, a large audience of visitors, buyers, enthusiasts, and collectors worldwide has been attracted by one of the most flourishing markets in recent years.
