Milan, 13 November 2023 - The thirteenth edition of Milano AutoClassica, the unmissable glamour event that mobilises enthusiasts of historic and modern models, will once again this year host an event dedicated to classic boats, alongside the proposal of dream cars spanning all eras. Having registered the appreciation of the public at the last edition, proving that the world of classic car collecting and that of classic boating have many points in common, such as the tradition of heritage, the taste for excellence, craftsmanship, style and beauty, the Vintage Boat Show is growing in size and being enriched with new, iconic models.
Numerous prestigious exhibitors are hosted at Milano AutoClassica, including the long-awaited return of Riva Classiche on an enlarged exhibition space, with the dream boats that have written the history of vintage boating.  Inside the Riva Classiche stand there will also be the Riva Boutique, offering the public a collection of accessories made with the style and quality of the legendary shipyard of the nautical world, produced by the Riva Brand Experience.

Among the dream boats that will catch the visitors' attention, we would first of all like to point out the Aquarama No. 2, an iconic boat as it is not only the second unit produced, but masterfully restored by Riva Classiche.
Other precious pieces on show: the Aquarama Special, the Aquarama 2nd Series and Riva Ferrari by Riva Classiche. The Aquarama, Cantieri Riva's most famous motorboat, produced until 1996, is an evolution of the Tritone model presented by engineer Carlo Riva at the Milan Boat Show in 1962. Characteristic is the hull worked in mahogany and then painted and polished to bring out the grain.
Riva Ferrari is a boat project devoted to beauty and speed (with two Vulcano 400 V8 engines capable of reaching 62 mph=100 km/h), born from the collaboration between two excellences: the Riva shipyard and Ferrari's engineering department. The stylistic features are inspired by the Testarossa, from which it inherits the wonderful 'scratches' positioned on the side and stern hull to ventilate the engine compartment.  The steering wheel, covered in leather, also features the Ferrari logo and is bordered by black indicators with yellow lettering and dials.

By Nautica Casarola, the Riva Sebino, the Aquariva and the Riva 25 Sport Fisherman, an elegant semi-cabin boat produced from 1970 to 1976 for a total of 206 units. The Riva Sebino was the first model to be mass produced, highlighting the evolution of the pleasure boat that could also be used for water skiing, contributing to the success of the historic Cantieri Riva: from artisan company to boating legend. 
Of Lycam, the Riva Olympic 1st Series, the Riva Corsa at 250 (Racer), the Molinari Corsa at 500 (Racer). The name Olympic derives from the Olympic Games that took place in Mexico City in 1968: the boat, open like the Junior but larger, inherits its cockpit and much of the interior. Powered by a single 270 hp Riva Thermo Electron engine, 264 units were produced until 1979.
The 1954 Riva Tritone, by Matteri, is the first twin-engined Riva produced from 1950 to 1964. A comfortable craft, considered the parent of the legendary Aquarama, it could carry up to eight people. The harmonious lines recall the elegance of the Ariston, the twin engine is a guarantee of safety at sea, performance and manoeuvrability.
By Storic Lidorama, the Aquarama II^ Serie and the Riva St Tropez, the most successful fibreglass boat for the yard. Produced in the 70s and 90s by Cantieri Riva as an alternative and heir to the Aquarama Special, the St Tropez is a powerboat with the same dimensions, liveability on board and performance, but in fibreglass, whose hull design was entrusted to Giorgio Barilani and Sonny Levi.
Finally, from the Cantieri Navali di La Spezia is the Offshorer Montecarlo 30 and the Dragone type sailing boat. After selling the Riva brand, Carlo Riva collaborates in the creation of the "Monte Carlo Offshorer" series with the aim of creating a powerboat capable of equalling the Aquarama Special in terms of construction quality, power and liveability on board, but with better handling at sea. Developed in collaboration with engineer Bob Hobbs and Cal Connel, owner of Crusader Marine, the Monte Carlo Superfast Offshorer 27 (1970s), 30 (1980s) and 32 (early 1990s) are built in fibreglass, with a "stepped" hull to improve stability. Centrally mounted engines lower the boat's centre of gravity, contributing to manoeuvrability.
