Genoa International Boat Show closed its 63rd edition with 118,269 visitors registered at 11.00 am on 26 September - the Show's closing day -, registering a 13.9% increase compared to 2022.
1,043 brands on display, up by 4.5% compared to 2022, a total number of boats well exceeding 1,000 - from 2 to 40 metres in length - 143 more berths in the water thanks to the opening of the new canals. 184 new products on display and premiere (+9.5% over 2022). 3,190 sea trials.
And, in addition: 120 conferences and workshops, 1,316 accredited journalists, 2,294 articles published only during the event period, from 20 to 26 September, over 11 hours of TV coverage dedicated to the Show.

We are working to achieve this goal, also thanks to the close cooperation between the public and private sectors, so that the new Waterfront di Levante, designed by Renzo Piano, will be the first exhibition area in the world specifically cut out for pleasure boating. From tomorrow we will start working for the next edition scheduled from 19 to 24 September 2024".

Genoa 63rd International Boat Show will be remembered for the unprecedented participation and attention of the authorities and government institutions, with the visit of the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructures and Transport, Matteo Salvini, the Minister for European Affairs, Mezzogiorno, Cohesion Policies, and the National Reform Programme, Raffaele Fitto, the Minister of Civil Protection and Sea Policies, Nello Musumeci, the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Policies, Francesco Lollobrigida, the Minister of Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo, the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, and the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto (in connection for the inaugural conference), the President of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, and the President of ENI, Giuseppe Zafarana.

The 63rd International Boat Show was supported by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE), which organised, together with Confindustria Nautica (the Italian Boating Industry Confederation), the presence at the Boat Show of a delegation of journalists and foreign buyers from 35 countries and 5 continents with the incoming project included in the Made in Italy Promotion Plan of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
