With no frills or technicalities, the work is a valuable aid for administrators, managers, consultants and operators who have to deal with issues related to boating every day, enabling them to protect themselves in the face of possible litigation or accidents. Completing the volume is the rich bibliography of reference and the authoritative information sources that enabled its drafting, from the Internal Revenue Service to the most prestigious nautical publications, from the Code of Sports Companies to legal-tax texts, from the non-profit world to the Third Sector. It lasts five years for registration in the National List of Professional Sailing Instructors, i.e., those who practice this activity even on a non-exclusive and non-continuous basis. Also mentioned in the book is so-called Social Boating, which can be for the purpose of therapeutic aid to people with disabilities or psychological disorders.
