It all began with Giugiaro's (Italdesign) 1978 Rustica, a little Spartan, which in 1980 was called Panda, a more amiable sounding, almost a family diminutive, and in 1981 won 2nd prize as car of the year.
Because of the characteristics of the particularly well organised passenger compartment, it appealed both to farmers for transporting their produce and to enterprising young people for the transformability of the interior space. 
In 1981, the Panda looked to the sky with its sunroof, and in 1984, one million cars were sold.
In the following years, our super-utility became more attractive, with two-tone liveries in particularly sought-after shades.
In 1985, it was transformed into the Nuova Panda 4x4, heavily equipped with seat belts and fashionable fabrics.
This was followed by the Panda Dance (1989) - the Panda Mondiali Italia '90, also available in a sporty cabriolet model.
Then there was the Panda Elettra, with an electric heart, the Panda Youngh, the Jolly, and the Trekking, Gianni Agnelli's home car.

In the Nineties, the versatile car got another restyling or modernisation in its mechanicals, accessories, colours and was presented in its most luxurious guise, one of which was the Panda 4x4 Country Club, the protagonist of our report, which at the time was the top of the range as it came as standard: specific luggage rack of this version, mirror on the passenger side, glove box on the passenger side, quartz clock on the dashboard, prearrangement for car radio, cigar lighter, front and rear ashtray and various internal and external details typical of that equipment besides the water-green livery (the model object of the photos is in excellent condition of consevation and is proposed on the market by GP CLASSICS - https://www.oldcar24.com/annunci/30089/fiat-panda-4x4-country-club)
At the 1997 Geneva Motor Show, even if a bit seasoned, it is still very much liked.

The first generation of Fiat's legendary hatchback ended in the 2000s (2003). Heir to the first series, the Panda del Duemila is a 5-door model, with notable differences in the Bertone-style bodywork, and is equipped with the most modern safety features.
In 2004, it was named Car of the Year. It also became a small sports car and even an amphibian in 2006, a prototype with the name Panda Terramare. The upgraded Rally, PanDakar and countless other versions testify to its chameleon-like vitality.
In 2012 the 3rd generation began and the new FIAT PANDA 2021 is about to be released, which will be particularly popular with young sportsmen and women. The SPORT model is elegant, with tinted windows and a leather steering wheel. 
Other versions are the CITY LIFE, WILD 4x4 and CROSS.
