FERRARI PORSCHE BUGATTI: supermillion-dollar auction in Paris, 2022
Collectors from all over the world are competing for four fabulous cars.
The supercars presented at an auction in Paris on 3 February 2022 multiplied the value of the auction's starting price.
In the ultra-modern setting of the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, on the axis of the Eiffel Tower, created for major events until 2024, several luxury cars were presented at auction by RM Sotheby's and Bonhams.
- the 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO, owned by driver Marcel Petitjean, which fetched €3.464,000 (Sotheby's).
Produced in only 272 examples, this extreme aerodynamic sports car comes from the extraordinary collection of the Strasbourg racing driver, famous in the 1960s and 1970s.
- A 2013 Ferrari Yellow, Centro Stile Ferrari, the sum of all the Maranello company's excellences, owned by the son of the current dictator of Equatorial Guinea, fetched €2.558.000 (Bonhams).
- The 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, which was driven by the famous actor Robert Redford who bought it in 1966, sold for €1.817.000. (Bonhams).
- The 1996 Bugatti EB 110 GT coupé, resplendent in its blue livery, was considered in 1991 to be the fastest road car in the world, equipped with the powerful V12 engine.
In 2021 it entered the universe of legendary classic cars.
Its name stands for "Ettore Bugatti / 110 years old / Gran Turismo. Sold for € 1,817,000 at Bonhams.
