Milan, 29 September 2021 - Milano AutoClassica confirms itself more than ever as the unmissable meeting occasion for all lovers of classic and sports cars who meet at the Milan Fairgrounds (Rho) to admire models that made automotive history, alongside modern super cars that guarantee performance, driving pleasure and, more and more, a great attention to sustainable mobility. The list of brands that have accepted the invitation to participate in the eleventh edition, which opens after tomorrow in the heart of the most elegant showcase in the sector, is very prestigious: Alpine cars, Bentley, BMW Club Italia, Caterham, McLaren, Morgan, Ferrari Museums and Porsche Classic Partner Milano Est.

Bentley Milano presents in a "total black body paint" two national previews that will catalyze the attention of the enthusiast public at Milano AutoClassica, the Bentayga Hybrid and the Continental GT Speed, available now at the Fassina Group's Bentley dealerships in Milan and Padua. Elegant, comfortable and exclusive as only the Bentayga can be in the luxury SUV segment and now with the new Plug-In Hybrid version, the car offers a choice of new technologies and services for a connected car, positioning the new Bentayga Hybrid as the most technically advanced Bentayga to date and emphasising the on-board driving experience, especially in 100% electric mode with a range of around 40 km that allows zero emissions in city driving and a recharging time with domestic voltage for a full range of just over 7 hours. The new Bentayga Hybrid adopts a plug-in hybrid system, which combines a 3-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine with an electric powertrain. The internal combustion engine delivers 340 hp and 450 Nm, the electric motor 128 hp and 350 Nm. Overall, the powertrain develops 449 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm, managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car's sensational performance, with a top speed of 254 mph and a 0-100 mph time of 5.5 seconds, is matched by significantly lower fuel consumption and emissions than the highest performing engines in the range.
The Bentayga Hybrid has been type-approved according to the WLTP cycle with an average consumption of 3.4 litres per 100 kilometres and average CO2 emissions of 82 grams per km. The range in full electric mode also makes these results possible. The new Bentley Continental GT Speed represents the pinnacle of high-performance grand touring: it is the most powerful expression of the Continental GT's values, exciting and performing, with Speed details created to enhance the relationship with the car, offering owners a new way of being 'Speed'. The world's most elegant and refined Grand Tourer can now deliver the kind of authentic emotion that a sportier accent will satisfy the desire of performance-minded drivers. Speed is the latest chapter in the Continental GT story, accompanying Bentley customers on their extraordinary journeys. The Continental GT Speed retains all the elegance, exclusivity, comfort and usability of the other versions. Powered by an upgraded version of Bentley's renowned 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine, it now delivers 650PS - an increase of 4% or 24PS over the current W12 model - while retaining an impressive 900Nm of torque. With exceptional handling that translates into a top speed of 335 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds. High-performance luxury car manufacturer McLaren is celebrating its tenth anniversary and the Woking-based company is present with two models, the McLaren 600LT Coupé and the McLaren GT, which tell a part of those first ten years.

The 600LT Coupé, part of the Sport Series range, which ends production in December 2020 with the delivery of the last 620R, embodies McLaren's philosophy of producing lightweight super sports cars that deliver extreme performance and are exceptionally rewarding to drive.  Inspired by the renowned McLaren 675LT models and the iconic 'Longtail' McLaren F1 GTR of the 1990s, it has all the physical characteristics of a true 'Longtail' McLaren, including an extended front splitter, extended rear diffuser, fixed rear wing and elongated silhouette.  Named APEX Great Britain in honour of the famous Abbey corner at Silverstone Circuit, this version is an example of the customisation offered by McLaren's Special Operations (MSO) division, in Special Paint Silica White with Carbon Black Alcantara interior, and includes the MSO Club Sport Pack and Carbon Fibre Exterior Pack, ultra-lightweight five spoke alloy wheels and red brake callipers. The two GTs chosen to enhance McLaren's interpretation of Grand Touring can be seen in two different colours, the standard Silver and the Namaka Blue Elite colour in the available colour pallet. Both models feature 15-spoke alloy wheels, carbon ceramic brakes and a sports exhaust, but the interiors are different: the Silver model has a Jet Black Nappa leather interior, while the Namaka Blue version with the Luxe package has Porcelain and Black interiors and an electrochromatic MSO roof. The McLaren GT's deep front boot and large luggage compartment under the opening rear glass door makes this supercar part of the world of Grand Touring, and not only is it the most spacious McLaren model, but it ranks among the most flexible and functional rear mid-engined two-seaters ever produced. The McLaren GT combines the classic touring car styles of elegance, comfort and unmistakable design with the dynamism and driver involvement found in all McLaren supercars. The two English brands Morgan and Caterham come to Milano AutoClassica, at Romeo Ferraris stand, importer and dealer of the two brands as well as highly operative Factory that since 1959 combines the activity of authorized workshop of iconic brands to the activity of restoration of classic cars, with particular expertise for English models, without forgetting the preparation of cars related to the activity in the racing world, at international level. On display a Morgan Radical SR8, the racing sports car produced by the British manufacturer Radical Sportscars, of which a small series was also built in a road-legal version; a Morgan Roadster 3.7, a Morgan Plus Six and an extraordinary Morgan Plus Four in a special light blue colour, which pays homage to Morgan's history and its ability to compete on all types of terrain: durable cars, which the brand's tradition has produced since 1911, able to compete and win every trial race. A Catherham Seven 485 R completes the exhibition. 
Porsche Classic Partner Milano Est will be present with a selection of models representing the best of its history, starting with a 1958 Porsche 356 A Coupé, perhaps the most mature version of the Porsche dynasty: fast, powerful, comfortable, well-built and easy to drive. In the 356's 15 years of production, just over 5,000 examples were built each year in the Stuttgart factories. It wasn't until 1964 that the 10,000 mark was reached, during the 356C's heyday.  One of the brand's most iconic cars, the Porsche 911 Targa coupe, has a chassis from 1967 on display, painted and undergoing restoration, as well as a car from 1973.
As far as the new market is concerned, Milano AutoClassica will also show the Taycan in Cross Turismo version, the first Porsche model with a fully electric drive equipped with two motors, one on each axle, and a battery that ensures a range of over 400 km. The Porsche Taycan is currently available in three versions: 4S with 530 bhp and 640 Nm (571 bhp and 650 Nm with the optional Performance Plus battery pack), Turbo with 680 bhp and 850 Nm of torque and Turbo S with 671 bhp and 1050 Nm of torque, all of which offer great driving pleasure.
