At Milano AutoClassica the Italian preview of Kimera Automobili EVO37: the return of a Rally myth in super limited edition

The extraordinary shapes of the EVO37 are, at a glance, faithful to those of the inspiring 037, but today enriched by updates and explicit references to other models that have made Italian cars great in rallies. In continuity with the original model, the front with four circular headlights (now full LEDs) and the hood with central "ashlar", while the tail proposes an important racing spoiler, a wide profile and four very sporty exhausts.  Today, as then, the chassis project is developed on the central cell to which, however, not only two tubular structures have been welded, one front and the other rear as at the time, but on the EVO37 the mechanical parts are housed on a chassis whose tubular sections become load-bearing and the central cell becomes the "shell" of the new integrated rollbar.  
The engine, an in-line four-cylinder with new twin turbocharger, remains central-longitudinal and is equipped with a modern electronic management system to optimize performance; traction is rear; the limited slip differential is integrated into the six-speed manual gearbox; the suspension has been redesigned and the wheels are 18 inches at the front and 19 at the rear. All materials are high quality and the level of components is very high: from carbon to Kevlar, as well as titanium, steel and aluminum machined from solid.  
The launch phase of the Kimera EVO37 includes a roadmap in the most exclusive European automotive events, aimed at collectors and amateurs of vintage and modern supercars. After the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the prototype version of the EVO37 made its appearance, at the end of August it will make its road debut in St. Moritz, Switzerland, during the tenth edition of Passione Engadina, the international event reserved for "top collectors" of Italian classic cars. Luca Betti, CEO of Kimera Automobili and rally driver with a rich international curriculum, has personally driven the latest road evolution, with interiors that prefigure the definitive standard ones, in full carbon, Alcantara®, leather and other precious materials. These interiors are strongly reminiscent of those of the 037 and S4 road cars, from which the EVO37 is inspired. The bodywork paint is also new, in a metallic grey color that recalls the color of the rarest S4, built at the time in only 5 examples. After a stop at the beginning of September at the Salon Privè of Blenehim Palace, near Oxford, in Great Britain, Kimera EVO37 chooses the eleventh edition of Milano AutoClassica for its debut with the public, collectors and Italian Media. 
The project of the Kimera EVO37 fuoriserie was conceived with a deep respect for the past, immediately involving the working group that at the time gave life to the cars that inspired the EVO37, but it was the young Alessandro Bonetto and Carlo Cavagnero, together with Luca Betti and his staff, who made this feat possible.
