Sometimes the feeling of beauty is triggered when looking at a car. It is an instinctive emotion shared by all classic car enthusiasts. This intimate feeling is revived with "Roma Eternal Beauties" - the Reb Concours", the event reserved for 70 cars produced between the beginning of the 20th century and the 1970s. The 'works of art' will be exhibited on the 'green' of the exclusive Circolo del Golf Roma Acquasanta from 21 to 23 June and a jury will be called upon to assess them. The judgement will be made regardless of the originality, the perfection of the restoration or the rarity of the model. The vote will essentially reward style and beauty. This will be expressed by personalities who appreciate art in all its forms.  
It will be up to Gianni Letta, politician and journalist, president of the competition jury, to choose the one that, in his personal and unquestionable opinion, is "Beautiful as Rome". Last year, Jill Morris, the UK ambassador, awarded the prize to a formidable 1947 Cisitalia 202 SC.  This year the choice will be really difficult; there will be some models in the field that, besides representing automotive history, are above all of absolute charm. Thanks to the presence of Alfa Romeo, it will be possible to admire the 2900 8C and the 33 Stradale from the Arese Museum. For the occasion, Alfa Romeo will present its latest jewel: the Giulia GTAm.  A magnificent Lagonda LG45 DHC from 1937 by Swiss Hetica Klassik. Among the sports cars, the oldest Lancia racing car in the world: an Epsilon type 58 that raced in the Targa Florio in 1913. At the Reb Concours Aci Storico, Moto Guzzi will continue to celebrate the 100 years of the eagle brand. Twelve selected models will be present to retrace the history of one of the most distinctive brands of historic motoring.

On the opening day, Gianni Letta will welcome Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio. Last year, the competition distinguished itself by raising funds for the purchase of 3,200 meal vouchers for the Circolo San Pietro, the "Pope's canteen" that assists the needy in the capital.  After the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Holy See and Italian anthems performed by the State Police Fanfare, the "museum" will be open to judges, competitors, guests and visitors. The first winning cars will be unveiled on the 21st. Antonio Di Bella, RAI correspondent from New York, will choose the most beautiful among the "French" cars on display. The President of the Court of Auditors of Lazio, Tommaso Miele, will judge the "Porsches". Marco Bentivogli, former leader of the CISL metalworkers and current secretary of Base, will judge the American cars. The next day, five other judgments: Nicola Bulgari (the "English"), Tomaso Trussardi (the "Italian"), Michele Placido ("the most cinematographic"), Veronica Pivetti ("the most theatrical"), Gelasio Gaetani Lovatelli d'Aragona (the "Spider"). On 23 June, Mariella Mengozzi, director of the Automobile Museum in Turin ("the most sporty") and producer Luca Bernabei, director of Lux Vide ("the most televisual") will decide.

Other special prizes will be awarded by Cesara Buonamici, deputy director of TG5 (ACI storico), TV presenter Andrea Lo Cicero (Gentlemen Drivers), Hetica Klassik (Riserva di Valore), Parmigiani Fleurier (Auto senza Tempo) and the Roma Acquasanta golf club.  
The exhibition of the 70 cars and the prize-giving ceremony will be interspersed with other events: on the 22nd there will be a discussion on 'The past, present and future of Alfa Romeo' with Giovanna Scaglione, daughter of the great designer Franco. Alessia Lautone, director of the La Presse agency, will present her book "Louis Vuitton. Il lusso di un sogno", a "travel" book, with a debate moderated by Pierluigi Diaco.  Other topics: "Le inglesi del dopoguerra" (Post-war British cars), organised by the Jaguar Drivers club Italia; and the meeting on "Cent'anni di Guzzi" (100 years of Guzzi), organised by Aci storico, which will close the event.  
Reb Concours is now in its second edition and continues to bring historic motoring closer not only to enthusiasts, but also to the world of civil society, entertainment, sport, fashion and information.
