FERRARI GTC4 -1971
A refined Gran Turismo from the 1970s.
In March 1971, the Geneva Motor Show presented a Ferrari Gran Turismo of the 365 series: V12 engine of 4390 cc, speed 260 km/h, bodywork by Pininfarina. This coupé was noted for its very elegant bodywork, with its sleek lines and harmonious profile, satisfying the most demanding aesthetic sense.
In those years, the Pininfarina factory studied its designs in the new wind tunnel, the first of its kind, where the aerodynamics of a vehicle were tested and the appropriate formal structures were drawn from.
These were also beautiful, such as the continuous surface starting from the sharp, sloping nose and ending in the wide rear window. At the front the headlights are lid-like, the grille is wide and horizontal, complemented by a bumper. On the flat, barely undulating bonnet there are two rectangular air intakes. The interior is very refined in leather, the two seats in front are great, the ones in the back, called makeshift, are less comfortable. This coupé was produced in 508 examples until 1973.
