Since 1980, the many lives of the longest-lived Italian cyticar have taken place. They began with the Rustica di Giugiaro (Italdesign) of 1978, a bit sparten, which in 1980 was called Panda, with a more lovable sound, almost a diminutive of the family, and in 1981 he won the 2nd prize as car of the year. For the characteristics of the interior particulary organized,it liked both the farmer to transport the food and the enterprising young people for the transformability of the internal space. In 1981 the Panda looks at the sky with a he sunroof and in 1984 marks a million cars sold. In the following years our superutilitaria becomes more attractive, with two-tone liveries in particularly refined shades. In 1985 it was transformed into a highly equipped New Panda 4x4, with safety belts and fashion fabrics. Followed by the Panda World Cup Italia'90, also available in the sporty cabriolet model. Still the Elettra Panda, with an electric heart, the Panda Youngh, the Jolly, and the Trekking, Gianni Agnelli's home car. In the1990s, the versatile automobile obtained another restyling or modernization in the mechanical part, in the accessories, in the colors and was presented in its most luxurious guise. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1997, although a little seasoned, it still likes a lot.

In the 2000s (2003) the first generation of the legendary Fiat utility vehicle ends. Heir of the first series, the Panda from 2000 is a 5-door model, with notable differences in the Bertone line bodywork, and is equipped with the most modern safety devices. In 2004 it was named car of the year. It also became a small sports car and even an amphibian in 2006, a prototype with the name of Panda Terramare. Could not miss the enhanced Rally, the PanDakar and Countless other versions, which attest to the chameleon vitality.
