The organising club is the British Motor Club Italia (http://www.britishmotorclub.it/), very active in the province of Brescia and in Lombardy in general. Many members of the MG Car Club d'Italia, Austin Healey Italian Club and Morgan Club Italia also responded to the call of the meeting: it was an opportunity to meet among enthusiasts after so many months of interruption of the rally activities due to the health emergency.
The day, accompanied by beautiful sunshine despite the bad weather forecast, continued with an excellent spit, a typical dish of the Brescia tradition, which the participating collectors were able to enjoy in the characteristic loggia of the winery. At the end of the lunch there was also the long-awaited lottery, with no less than 107 prizes, mostly automotive prizes, various gadgets and many collector's items branded Mille Miglia; on the other hand, every year the "Most beautiful race in the world" starts from Brescia.
In a year in which many vintage car and motorbike events were cancelled because of Covid, the British Motor Club Italia was able to organise a very successful meeting, in full respect of the distance, but with the usual desire to meet.
The event was also attended by the entire journalistic staff of "Slowdrive Magazine", the first vintage car touring magazine (www.slowdrivemagazine.com), an elegant and unique magazine that will not fail to recount this beautiful initiative in the next issues.
