It is difficult to separate them in the collective imagination; great actor is the first one, fascinating cinematographic figure is the second. Not only did Connery create a superlative and seductive 007 Agent, but he made famous the actresses who worked with him, the watches he wore, and especially the cars he drove on set.
First and foremost, the Aston Martin DB5, James Bond's personal car, super-equipped for his amazing missions, became world-famous with the 1964 film "Agent 007, Goldfinger Mission", which consecrated Connery and the car forever. This car was auctioned for €3.328,000 and bought by an American billionaire.
An outstanding international auction protagonist, one of the 1965 Goldfinger models was auctioned in Monterey at RM Sotheby's in 2019 and sold for $1,765,000.
Aston Martin recently put twenty-five DB5 coupés equipped with machine guns and all the devices supplied in the film version into production.

SEAN CONNERY, A MAN AND A CHARACTER ENTERED THE MYTH

A stunning Bentley 3/half Litre sky blue convertible, which participated in the Pebble Beach Elegance Competition in 2015, was Bond Connery's car in the film "From Russia with Love", one of the most successful in the series (1963). In 1971 Sean Connery played "Agent 007, a cascade of diamonds" and was entrusted with a luxurious red Ford Mustang Mach. Unforgettable interpreter you made us dream! After him, other talented actors played the famous British Agent, without ever equalling or surpassing him. Their splendid cars were the Aston Martin DBS, the AMC Hornet and Matador, the Lotus Esprit S1, the Citroën 2CV Club, the Alfa Romeo GTV, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, all of great class and power.
