MASERATI FOREVER-MC20 (INNOVATION LAB MODENA)
A long history of success projected into the future.
The announcement of the launch of the Maserati MC20 model, a 630 hp two-seater GT, born from the merger of FCA and PSA, has restarted the history of designing some of the most beautiful cars in the world. The history is more than a century long and would require a great deal of space, if one wanted to mention all the prestigious models that have made the Modena car manufacturer famous. The Maserati Tipo 26 dates back to 1926, the first with the symbol of the Trident, inspired by the trident held by the god Neptune, bronze statue of the monumental fountain of Bologna. Maserati AG GCS 1953 two-seater racing car, of which three examples with Vignale, Frua, Scaglietti bodywork and four berlinetta coupés by Pininfarina with aluminium bodywork. Maserati 250 F , driven to victory by J.Manuel Fangio in 1957. The legendary Tipo 60, racing and road models, both rich of prizes. In the seventies, designed by Giulio Alfieri, the splendid Maserati Bora(1971/78) design by Giugiaro Italdesign, Maserati Khamsin (1973/82) 2+2 coupé of great luxury, named after the desert wind, designed by Marcello Gandini, for Bertone. Maserati Merak, which takes its name from the sparkling star of the Big Bang. The endless history of Maserati continues in the firmament of luxury sports cars.
