The Ferrari of Magnum P.I. Ferrari 308 GTS 1977
Potogenic, versatile and with great performances, it was Thomas Magnum‘s inseparable car.
Always in the foreground in the American fiction of the eighties, which had great success also in Italy, the 308 GTS pilot from the protagonist, a hard and relentless investigator, gained wordwide popularity.
This luxurious sports car,exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1977, represented a turning point in Ferrari production, in the Gran Turismo berlinetta and Gran Turismo Scoperta versions, with a removable Targa- type fiberglass roof.
It has a V8 engine and rear wheel drive.
The design was entrusted to Leonardo Fioravanti‘s team for Pininfarina and the realization to Sergio Scaglietti, the legendary coachbuilder particularly attached to Enzo Ferrari, for whom he modeled some of the most beautiful cars in the world.
