Milan Circuit
Eighty years after the (first) triumph of legendary Tazio Nuvolari back in 28 June 1936 between Arena and Castello Sforzesco, on Sunday 25th September “Circuito di Milano” has returned. The above-mentioned event, promoted by the Sports Committee of the Automobile Club Milano (ACM) and sponsored by the City of Milan, brought back on the urban streets 50 vehicles that had made the history of motoring.
It was chosen a circuit of about 20 kilometers repeated twice, that involved some characteristic places of the city. Ezio Salviato and Maria Caterina Moglia have won the race with a 1939 Lancia Aprilia. On Sunday morning the participants have gathered in via Marina, where at 9.30 the first stage has started.
The race ended at 13.30 and it was followed by a lunch of the participants in the hall of the ACM and the award-giving ceremony.
