1930: the Pinin Farina (Giovanni Battista Farina) Body builders Company was founded in Turin. The name turned into Pininfarina in 1961. The celebrations began at the Triennale of Milan, tense in the constant search for technological quality, style,technical and aesthetic perfection. Many Pininfarina projects, creations and creations,known all over the world. It would be enough to mention three: the Cisitalia 202 1946, the first car in the world to be permanently exhibited at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York, as an example of a mobile work of art. The car also won the first prize in 1947 at the Villa d'Este Elegance Competition and the Golden Cup of that year. Preceded by the austere and elegant Lancia Aprilia (1937-49) by Battista Farina (Pinin). The Ferrari 250 GT, launched at the Paris Motor Show in 1956. In addition to the great successes, today Pininfarina, which has become international, is projected into the future with futuristic projects not only in the automotive sector, but in industrial design, architecture, always in the sign of the highest quality and creativity that distinguished it in its first 90 years old.
