This exceptional sports car in the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Montecarlo Circuit was a “pace car”, that is, the car of the highest performance and safety in competitions.
In 1967, the year of production,108 were made, of which this is an example.
Masterpiece of engineering and style, it owes the project to two great technicians, Gian Paolo Dallara and Paolo Stanzani.
The bodywork comes out of the Bertone workshops in Grugliasco (Turin) based on a design by a great designer: Marcello Gandini.
La Miura owes its name to Ferruccio Lamborghini’s passion for bullfights.
This newly designed and stylish Gran Turismo faschinated Frank Sinatra, the Shah of Persia, Gino Paoli, Hussein of Giordan, Elton John, Russel Crowe and other well- known personalities between the sixties and seventies.
