Modena Presents every year Motor Gallery ( historical cars and motorcycles), because it is from the machines of the past that, step by step, following the technological evolution, the current ones were born.

In this historical  context of high competence, in the Italian  motor valley ( Modena ,Bologna ,Ferrara ,Parma) was born the first Car University, signed Lamborghini, Ducati, Ferrari e Maserati.

OldCar24 exhibits beautiful luxury sports car from 1955: Porsche 356 Pre-A 1500, which can be considered the first standard model produced by the Stuttgart-based company.

It is a creature of the founder Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry. The name corresponds to the project number of the car in Studio Porsche:Type 356. The engine is a four- cylinder air-cooler and rear- mounted engine. Other mechanical innovations are derived from the Volkswagen Beatle designed  a few years earlier by Ferdinand Porsche. The windshield is in one piece with a curvature in the center to  improve visibility. Beyond the Porsche 356 Pre-A in the stand there is also a made in Italy car, a historic sedan that has raced many races, Fiat 1100 Turismo Veloce. On display are now very rare specimens of cars that tell stories and not just engines, but of men, entrepreneurs and designers of great creativity and courage. The five unique specimens of DeTomaso exhibited at the fair speak of the adventurous life of the founder, of the then famous Carrozzerie ( Fissore and Ghia ) who materrially created the  models of the most famous designers of the last century.

Admiring these mechanical masterpieces,deepening their stories, enriching our culture and humanity,and also buying them. Why a pictorial work by Morandi or Guercino yes,(to stay in the Emilia area), or a coupe  Vignale or a Zagato no?

The fifty years of Autobianchi A 112 (1969 )  are celebrated by a gathering of owners of this super- utility vehicle designed by the Piedmontese Dante Giacosa, one of the masters of italian motoring.
