FIAT 1100/103E TV: A PREVIEW OF ONE OF THE CARS ON DISPLAY AT OUR STAND AT MODENA MOTOR GALLERY

This car is the second series of the Fiat 1100/130TV: the one set up on the 1100/103 type and remained in production for just over a year, between June 56 and the 1957 Turin Motor Show, held in October, when it was presented the Fiat 1200 light replacement; the number of built models is not known because the frame numbers are cumulated with those of the normal sedan but it is safe to assume that they are very few and even fewer survivors .
Built by Fiat's Special Bodyworks department, it boasts the  most powerful engine mounted on the 1100s up to that point (53hp), it is able to give this luxury sedan very interesting performance at the time.
The photographed specimen was registered for the first time in March 1957 in the province of Pisa with the plaque still present today; from the photocopy of the original vehicle registration card it is clear that the car is also fitted with its original 103E engine N. 328193 as original equipment.
Abandoned in the premises of a car dealer Where it is noticed by the one who, in 1993, will proceed to its complete restoration: an operation so well conducted that the car is in conditions, excellent even today, after 26 years.
On this occasion it is painted in the same light/ dark green metallic pattern on the copy which, in 1957, won its class in the last edition of the Mille Miglia driven by Ersilia Mandini and Luigi Bertazzi.
