It must be a short, memorable, evocative name. Appia is round and sonorously plastic, with a good analogical relationship with the machine that carries it. La Lancia has given beautiful names to its cars: Aurelia, Flaminia .. are those of the ancient Roman consular roads, whose millenary tracks cross Italy. The Appia, of which remain the ancient paving stones beaten by the Legions that conquered the world, was the "queen of the Roman roads". The early 1950s were still tough years for the Italian mechanical industry. The Lancia Appia sedan 1st series 1953 of our service opens an era in the production of our country, in competition with Fiat. The C10S model of our service is one of the few specimens with left-hand drive; it has a narrow 4-cylinder engine, 4 doors, 4 seats with two armchairs divided by the front seats. The windshield has a curved glass, has the device dismantling and thawing, the heater and fan, the boot that can be unlocked from the inside. Maximum speed 120 km.h.
