CENTOMITI. These are the cars which have made history. 100 models representing the evolution of cars, which has revolutionised our lifestyle from its launch to the present day. A key symbol of our society, over time its role has changed, profoundly affecting the social, economic, technical, sports and cultural history of mankind. A history packed with people, visions, ideas, experiences and cutting-edge technology. An exhibition that is almost a challenge. Identifying the 100 cars which, on a global scale and amid thousands of models designed over more than one hundred years of car manufacturing history, have significantly contributed to the technical, stylistic, sports, social and cultural development of the most widespread, popular and beloved means of transport. This is exactly what the exhibition-event - which is scheduled in Verona on Saturday 11th May 2019 in the exhibition halls of Verona Fiere - sets out to do. The themed exhibition - curated by Luca Gastaldi, a journalist and motoring historian – has been made possible thanks to the special contribution of international partners: Italian and foreign collectors, car make clubs and the biggest museum institutions - first and foremost the Nicolis Museum of Verona, a genuine four-wheeled treasure chest. An extraordinary heritage, an opportunity for all enthusiasts, a full-immersion investigation into history in the form of an exciting trail that begins with the Three-wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car built in 1886 in Germany, through to the latest-generation electric supercars. 100 cars, one century of history, innovation and passion.
