The number of Watch Houses has grown, because this Geneva salon is one of the best windows of visibility and communication, connected to the whole world. Among the new items on display, there is a limited-edition watch with 33 specimens of the Officine Panerai: the SUBMERSIBLE CARBOTECH MARINA MILITARE 47 mm. automatic movement. It is black (carbon fiber), with luminous numbers, a rubber watchstrap, waterproof to 300 m, extremely resistant to water and depth. The number 33 of the specimens corresponds to the 33 gold medals of the military heroes of the Underwater Command and Raiders, Italian special forces, whose glorious history comes from the 1st World War. A little patriotic sense does not hurt! Regarding the Panerai Workshops, we already wrote about Radiomir last year; which is a watch with a luminous dial, in use since 1936 by the Submarines of Regia Marina Group. A second watch, from the historical past, involved us: the "SANTOS", new Cartier, a review of the wristwatch created in 1904 by Louis Cartier for his aviator friend and (for) the designer of the first airplanes, the engineer Alberto Santos-Dumont. (see our art. July 2018). The Geneva International Motor Show in 2020 will shift its opening in spring, from 26th to 29th April and the OldTime24 Team will devote a service.
