The manufactory is located in the Jura, Vallée de Joux from 1875. Every year, Audemars Piguet entrusts to a contemporary, conceptual or not, artist, the interpretation of the suggestive landscape, of an incalculable geological time, of the Jura.  In 2017 LARS JAN, an American, created a project for the Miami Beach beach, related to the local landscape and the environmental problems of the future. In 2018 (from 6th to 9th December) the moving images of the Italian audiovisual artist QUAYOLA were presented, recreating the sensory and perceptual experiences aroused by the mountain environment of the Jura. DAN HOLDSWORTH, a British artist, produces photographs of great interest of the Swiss valley in the various seasons. The Chilean SEBASTIAN ERRAZURIZ has signed an installation that refers to the action of time on water, transforming/turning it into snow and ice. The dimension of TIME is always at the base of these projects desired by Audemars Piguet.
