Positive Bolaffi: positive. Revenues of 1.6 million euros, despite the binding intervention of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage.

The first auction of vintage Bolaffi cars and motorcycles was held on Wednesday 23rd May at the Arese track, which was attended by over three hundred collectors.
The choice of cars, sought-after and particular, has been rewarded, including, as top lot of the auction, the Alfa Romeo 8C Pandion 2010 (concept-car designed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo - lot 64), beaten to 575,000 euros. In the second place, the Bertone Nuccio 2012, with Ferrari 430F1 mechanics (lot 65), awarded to 330,000 euros.
Numerous raises also for the style drawings of the Bertone's archive, coming from bankruptcy and purchased as a single lot (5000 pieces) to 62.000 euros from the well-known prototypes collector Corrado Lopresto.
Other interesting lots were the Renault R5 Turbo of 1981, one of the works of art by Marcello Gandini - lot 83 - awarded to 80.000 euros, the Peugeot Break 4x4 Dangel of 1985 - lot 45 - 27 thousand euros and the delicious Mini Morris green olive - lot 40 - batting at a competitive price, 10.350 euros.
Among the motorcycles to mention, a Norton Manx 1960 - lot 13 - awarded to 37.000 euros and the Aermacchi Ala D'Oro 250 of 1968 - 9 - 21,000 euros.
Filippo Bolaffi, managing director Aste Bolaffi, commented: "This auction had two winners, Bertone and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, which, seven hours after the sale, has initiated seven proceedings by notifying cars worth a million and a half euros (including a Swiss bodied car, the Gangloff, and another one registered in England, the Isotta Fraschini 8B); a choice that prevented the purchase by foreign collectors of many cars without being notified on time".
