BERTONE COLLECTION: pride of Italy

The aviation Museum “Volandia” located near to Malpensa airport is ready to welcome all enthusiasts who want to watch the collection on 7 April 2018.
During the inauguration of the Collection chaired by new ASI president, Maurizio Speziali were held a series of conferences about topics relating to motors museum. In the afternoon, it was followed by an interesting visit to exposed cars, guided by Michael Robinson, Bertone designer, who presented his book about Bertone collection.
The Collection consists of seventy pieces, including production cars and prototypes that Nuccio Bertone designed freeing up his imagination and finding risky but innovative solutions. Starting from Lancia Stratos to Lamborghini Miura, from Giulietta SS to Fiat X1/9, the Collection includes a lot of prototypes projected for different car manufacturers.
It would have been really pity if these valuable pieces designed by Bertone and his collaborators such as Marcello Gandini and Giorgetto Giugiaro, had to be transferred abroad.
The visit to the museum is worthy of the ticket’s price. Besides the cars from Bertone Collection, in fact there is much more to see such as the history of the aviation that is interesting way to spend the half day with a family.
